Skógafoss is one of Iceland's largest and most photographed waterfalls, sitting at the base of the former sea cliffs along the south coast near the village of Skógar. It drops around 60 metres in a single curtain of water roughly 25 metres wide, and the sheer volume of flow means the surrounding area is almost permanently misted — a quality that makes it particularly well-suited to long exposure photography.
