Old Harry Rocks stand at the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, where the chalk cliffs of the Isle of Purbeck meet the sea at Handfast Point near Studland. The chalk stacks — the largest of which is Old Harry himself, with his wife a smaller stack alongside — are among the most recognisable coastal formations on the south coast of England, the white chalk contrasting sharply with the blue-green water of the English Channel on clear days.
