Bradley Woods sits within Bakers Park on the edge of Newton Abbot in South Devon, a stretch of ancient woodland that follows the River Lemon through a steep-sided valley. This photography print was taken during the Beast from the East weather event, when an unusual easterly airflow brought heavy snowfall across the South West and transformed the woodland into a scene rarely seen in this part of Devon. The image captures a single tree standing in the snow-covered clearing, the surrounding woodland reduced to a soft, muted backdrop by the weight of the snowfall.
